Semester Academic Content
First Semester
  • Enrollment and course registration
    • Apply courses in the academic information system within the course registration period
Second Semester
  • Enrollment and course registration
    • Apply courses in the academic information system within the course registration period
    • Available to apply for the “Specialized Research Course”
  • Submission of thesis proposal (end of second semester)
    • After selecting thesis adviser, student should submit thesis proposal within a certain period
Third Semester
  • Enrollment and course registration
    • Apply courses in the academic information system within the course registration period
    • Available to apply for the “Specialized Research Course”
  • Thesis guidance
    • Receive thesis guidance from thesis advisor
  • Comprehensive Exam
    • Qualification for exam: ①Enrolled at least three semesters or more ② Completed at least 18 credits
    • Submit application within comprehensive examination registration period (submission of test subjects)
Fourth Semester
  • Enrollment and course registration
    • Apply courses in the academic information system within the course registration period
    • Available to apply for the “Specialized Research Course”
  • Thesis guidance and evaluation
    • Qualification for evaluation: Students who have completed course work and pass the comprehensive exam
    • Apply for thesis evaluation (subject presentation review and main review) with the recommendation of thesis advisor
  • Submission of the final version of thesis
    • Students who has passed the thesis evaluation process shall submit one dissertation sealed by the judges, six copies of dissertation, four copies of CDs, Confirmation of thesis submission to department office.
Completion
  • Completing the regular registration semester and course work
    • Students who were required to complete prerequisite courses should have completed the courses.
    • If a master's dissertation is not submitted within four years and a doctorate dissertation within seven years, it will be treated as a permanent completion.
Graduation
  • Students who has pass the thesis evaluation after passing the completion criteria + comprehensive exam.
